Getting to Hale Napili is a breeze! There are three airports on Maui including Kahului, Kapalua, and Hana.

Kahului airport is the main airport on the island and has more flights per day then the other two airports. It can handle both overseas and interisland flights and is the most popular airport our guests coming from the Mainland fly in and out of. Located on the very Northern edge of the land bridge between West Maui Mountain Range and Haleakala, it is the second busiest airport in the State of Hawaii. Airlines that have flights in and out of this airport (some may be seasonal) include: Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Island Air, Mokulele Airlines, Empire Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, Virgin America, and WestJet.

Kapalua Airport ) is a formerly privately owned airport. It is operational only during day-time hours. It is located on the West side of Maui. Airlines that operate out of this airport are commuter airlines such as Island Air and there is one scheduled passenger airline Mokulele Airlines this airline flies to other areas of Maui and to the other islands within Hawaii. It’s a great option for seeing more of the islands at a fairly reasonable cost.

The Hana Airport can be found on the Northeast side of Maui on the East Shore three miles from the town of Hana. It is used mostly by unscheduled air taxis and private planes. Mokulele Airlines offers commercial flights to Kahului airport and to a few other Hawaiian islands. This is a good way if you are pressed for time to be able to get to this side of Maui as this part of the island is considered very isolated as its a52 mile drive through the winding roads and rainforest to arrive here. However, flights can be limited depending on the season so be sure to plan ahead.
